Eugene-Springfield SEO and Internet Marketing Company
Hero Web Marketing & Design is a division of MightyMerchant eCommerce, co-owned by us, Michael Stearns and Staci Schipporeit. We started our web design and hosting business out of our home in the beautiful Eugene-Springfield area of western Oregon in 1996. Well, we couldn't work out of our home for very long! Now we have a real office in Springfield and wonderful employees who have come along with us over the years that we have been growing our web development, SEO and Internet marketing business.
Staci has a computer science degree from the University of Oregon and I worked at the computing center at the UO at that time, when the Internet was really starting to take off. While both of us were immersed in computing, we actually met in a juggling class at the UO! We both have always enjoyed the Internet and computing, and we wanted to take our knowlegde and start our own business. Staci became the chief architect and programmer of the MightyMerchant shopping cart system, and everything that’s been done has been done with ease and convenience in mind. Our sense of humor and desire to have fun has allowed us to focus on the people and not the machines in the demanding Internet technology field.
